Suzanne Somers Launches LifeWave Media Tour

LifeWave ambassador Suzanne Somers hit the ground running with a United States national satellite media tour on July 7th to broadcast her passionate support for the U.S. President’s Cancer Panel’s (PCP) recent report that links chemical pollutants in our environment to cancer. In her interviews with the media, Suzanne spoke about the role LifeWave has played in helping her counter these chemicals through detoxification.

“I can’t say I was surprised by this report. I became acutely aware of the carcinogenic dangers of chemicals when I was researching my own cancer treatment ten years ago, and when I wrote KNOCKOUT: Doctors Who are Curing Cancer and How to Avoid Getting it in the First Place. This report gives me hope that this devastating problem will finally receive the global attention it deserves and steps will be taken to clean up our food, environment, and numerous toxins poisoning us on a daily basis,” said Somers. “One of the tools I use to detox is the LifeWave YAge Glutathione patch. Suzanne Somers’ Breakthrough and Sleep Patch Featured in Hit Movie

When the first episode of Sex and the City aired in 1998, the HBO television series became an instant success. Over the years, snappy dialogue from compelling characters in a gripping New York City setting earned the show a cult following of fans. Twelve years later, the four female protagonists from the show (Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda) reprise their roles in Sex and the City 2, a new full feature film based on the series.

At first blush, these characters, four wealthy women from New York City with a penchant for outrageous fashion, seem anything but realistic. But on a closer look, the movie is about ordinary women, with each character representing real women’s issues. This makes Sex and the City 2 the perfect forum to feature Suzanne Somers’ New York Times Best Seller Breakthrough: Eight Steps to Wellness, which addresses health issues that affect women. As many of you know, Breakthrough also includes a chapter on our LifeWave patches.

The book is featured heavily in the film. Kim Catrell’s character, Samantha, leans on Breakthrough to help her navigate through aging and menopause. In one scene, Samantha declares, “I am leading the way through the menopause maze. According to Suzanne, the film’s producers called and asked her if they could use the book in the movie and she was glad to oblige. In its first weekend, Sex and the City 2 grossed more than $37 million at the box office! The movie has exposed Breakthrough to countless more fans.
