Dr. Peng Chan has been the model of excellence, with a passion and persistence rarely seen in the network marketing industry. Because of his desire to help people throughout the world with LifeWave technology, Dr. Peng has traveled extensively, including a number of trips to the Philippines for the purpose of assisting LifeWave in the development of this market.
Thanks to his efforts, LifeWave now has a noticeable presence in the Philippines, and we are very excited about the growth and direction we are moving in to support this market.
Dr. Peng Chan holds a Law degree with top honors, a MBA in Corporate Strategy & Finance, and a Ph.D in Strategic Management from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a certified professional management consultant. Dr. Chan has over 20 years’ consulting experience and has advised and trained CEO’s, business owners, executives and managers from thousands of corporations around the world. His areas of expertise include: strategic planning and implementation; global expansion and marketing strategies; knowledge management; franchising and franchise development; e-business startup and management; reengineering and change management; human resource management; supply chain management; leadership training and customer service management.
Dr. Chan has taught undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D programs at major universities in the United States, China and Thailand. He is a tenured Full Professor of Management at one of the leading business schools in the United States. Dr. Chan supervised an MBA consulting team that won the First Prize in International Case Competition - beating out teams from over 200 universities! Dr. Chan has delivered many speeches and seminars throughout the world and has published over 150 refereed articles in prestigious conferences and journals. He is a featured writer in Strategy + Marketing. He has also written 2 books and is currently working on others.
Among the many awards and honors that he has received, Dr. Chan was bestowed the Outstanding Young Man of America Award in recognition of his “outstanding professional achievement, superior leadership ability and exceptional service to the community." He is also a Fulbright Scholar and has been granted the Distinguished International Scholar Award by Phi Beta Delta (the International Honor Society) for his extensive contribution to international business. He is listed in Who's Who Among Asian Americans and Who's Who Among Global Leaders. He is fluent in multiple languages including English, Chinese (several dialects), Malay, Indonesian, and Thai.
