Pro Golfer from Iceland Receives Leadership Award - February 2009
LifeWave presented professional golfer Ragnhildur Sigurðardóttir of Iceland with the Leadership Award for February. She received the award for her phenomenal sponsoring activity. At the young age of 13, Sigurðardóttir started playing golf in 1983. A short two years later, she reigned as Icelandic champion. Since then Sigurðardóttir has remained at the top. In 2005, she received the Athlete of the Year award in Reykjavik. And in 2008, she had the highest rank on the Icelandic tour. Sigurðardóttir doesn’t plan to quit anytime soon. She has participated in the qualifying schools for both the European and the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association tours. Sigurðardóttir is LifeWave’s first Leadership Award recipient from Iceland.

Dear Lifewave friends,
My name is Ragnhildur Sigurdardottir. I was so lucky to bump into LifeWave patches in early Jan. 2009. A good friend of mine, Gudmundur Bragason, brought them home from his travels in Singapore.
As you probably know, the financial crisis struck Iceland in late Sept. 2008, and since then people have been more open to more exciting things than ever before. That’s perhaps part of the reason why LifeWave patches have taken Iceland by storm since they came to our little corner of the world.

I’m a PGA professional and still play competitive golf after 26 wonderful years.
